Irene Ikomu is the Founder and CEO of Muyi Consulting Group. Irene started her career serving in different roles serving civil society and international development in Africa and has accumulated over 10 years of experience in the sector. She has previously worked with the Heinrich Boell Stiftung and the Aga Khan Foundation, designing and leading program
conceptualisation, developing strategies, and implementing impactful interventions supporting civil society in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Eritrea, and Somalia/Somaliland. She has also co-founded three not-for-profits in Uganda.
She serves on the Board of Directors of Restless Development Uganda, and the Uganda Advisory Committee of the Segal Family Foundation. She has advised or developed strategies for USAID, Heinrich Boell Stiftung, and the African Union.
At Muyi, she leads management strategy. She guides management teams at various stages to define creative strategies to meet their long-term goals.
